I recently road-tripped home to the Lone Star State for some Phamily time. Good times, good food all around. And you know it's never a trip home without some quality Mama Pham talks.

Reminds me so much of my own mum, whose pearls of wisdom include such helpful hints as "You look SO much more attractive with make-up on." True, of course, but did it really need to be said?

How did you figure it out if you didn't know before? Was it my use of "mum" or have I told this story before? (it did leave a scar...)
